Why hello, and thank you for joining me on this personal health blog post, “Think Yourself Thin.” As I was sitting here shoveling in my mouth some no bake cookies that I made last night, I started to feel guilty. Why? Because its 10 am and I haven’t eaten any breakfast. Also, I have developed a habit of not eating, until later on in the day, which is only adding to me being overweight. You see, when your body doesn’t get food, it shuts down and holds onto your body fat, as a type of reserve, in order to get itself by until you feed it again. I know this, because I took a nutrition class in college.
I am not grossly overweight, just 20 pounds for my 5’6″ figure. However, it is enough for me to notice the difference in the way I feel about myself, and how I interact with others. I also, do not care for the tightness in my clothes. The feeling of being uncomfortable, never seems to go away.
I have previously written a blog, about manifesting what you want, in short terms, if you think it, and you believe it, it will happen. So this morning, I researched, thinking myself thin. And yes, there is plenty of information out on the web, to prove that it can be done.
So, with all this being said, I am writing this blog to help you, and I, Think Yourself Thin!
Let’s start by watching a video, that inspired me.
Pretty inspiring don’t you think? I had heard about EFT, and I have personally experienced it as well, to help with lowering my depression. Unfortunately, the counselor that performed it on me, told me nothing about what it was, so I brushed it off, as some fluke experiment. If only he would have informed me, I believe it might have worked. Just my thoughts.
So, what exactly is EFT? Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (often known as Tapping or EFT Tapping), is a universal healing tool that can provide impressive result for physical, emotional, and performance issues. There are multiple definitions of it out on the web, I chose this one from http://www.emofree.com
I also found this video on You Tube as well, to show you how it can be done.
I chose the video above because it was created this year. So, are you inspired to, Think Yourself Thin? I definitely am, I tried most of it, until my dog, Gracie, begged for me to take her outside, and I found a profound difference immediately, on the way I felt about myself, that’s pretty impressive. I found myself walking with my head up, and I felt more confident.
So, I guess the no bake cookies are now a no go. What a shame, because they were pretty tasty. 🙂
I am setting a personal health goal to lose 20 pounds within the next 12 weeks. Who’s with me on this one?
Thanks for reading, and please feel free to share!
I am blessed to be here and if my work is helping you in anyway all contributions are welcomed! Thank you in advance.
